Membership is open to anyone who supports FFA and agricultural education. You do not have to have worn the blue jacket to be an FFA Alumni member. As a member, you will take an active part in building your community at the local, state, and national level. Your commitment helps ensure the continued success of America's premier youth leadership organization.
If you are proud of the FFA and want to help local FFA members acquire knowledge and experience from FFA activities and agricultural education, the FFA Alumni is for you! You can join the FFA Alumni and help provide opportunities for young men and women to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
The Illinois FFA Alumni and Supporters offer two types of lifetime memberships (lifetime membership form):
National FFA Alumni ($200) and IL FFA Alumni ($50) = $250 (3% Credit Card Fee the cost is $257.50)
Illinois FFA Alumni and Supporters State Only - $50 (3% Credit Card Fee the cost is $51.50)
Pay by Check - (Click link for lifetime membership form), mail check and form to IL FFA Alumni, 3221 Northfield Drive, Springfield, IL 62702.
Pay by Credit Card - If you would like to pay by credit card, please click this link. Please check the box to cover the credit card fees. Please note this is purchasing a lifetime membership not a donation. If you prefer not to check to cover the credit card fees then please send us a check.

Annual Chapter Membership - Roster & Instructions
Annual Alumni Chapter Membership Instructions (Membership Year August 1-July 31) - Affiliate Dues, Roster & Officer's List/Volunteer Hours by December 4, 2023. If unable to do it by December, please send in no later than March 1, 2024. Please email the roster & Officer's List/Volunteer Hours. Please mail the check(s) to IL FFA Alumni, 3221 Northfield Drive, Springfield, IL 62702.
- $150 per year to belong to National FFA Alumni and Supporters & IL FFA Alumni and Supporters
- $50 per year to belong to IL FFA Alumni and Supporters Only (This is separate payment to belong to IL FFA Alumni ONLY, and not included with National FFA Alumni/IL FFA Alumni Chapter Fee.)
- Corporate Alumni Chapters - $50 per year (National FFA Alumni and Supporters dropped their chapter dues).
- State at Large Members Only (for members that do not belong to a local FFA Alumni Chapter) Annual membership is $15 per year. Please send this form in with your check.
Find a chapter near you or support all FFA members in Illinois by becoming a "state at large" member. If you are unsure if your local school has an alumni chapter, we can help direct you to the individuals in your area. If you do not have a chapter, we can get you the information required to get yours chartered with only 10 other individuals like yourself.

Start/Reactivate Alumni Chapter
Starting/Reactivating an Alumni Chapter is a great way to gain local support for your FFA Chapter and FFA Members. If you would like to start or reactivate an FFA Alumni Chapter, contact Patti Davis at pdavis@illinoisffa.org
The Illinois FFA Alumni and Supporters are 100% Affiliated now which means that all alumni chapters must pay an Affiliate Fee every year, and it depends on the amount of lifetime members on what they pay each year. Illinois FFA Alumni and Supporters is also giving alumni chapters a choice on who they want to be sanctioned with (all checks are mailed to the IL FFA Alumni including being associated with National FFA Alumni and Supporters):
- Illinois FFA Alumni and Supporters Only - $50 per year
- OR
- National FFA Alumni and Supporters and Illinois FFA Alumni & Supporters - If your alumni chapter is needing a tax-exempt status, then you'll need to be associated with both - $150 per year ($100 National FFA Alumni and Supporters and $50 Illinois FFA Alumni)
Instructions to Start/Reactivate an Alumni Chapter - All information needs mailed or emailed to IL FFA Alumni and Supporters at pdavis@illinoisffa.org (do not send to National FFA Alumni):
- Please see these instructions on how to Start/Reactivate an Alumni Chapter.
- National FFA Alumni and Supporters Application - Complete (can be handwritten) and email to Patti Davis at pdavis@illinoisffa.org. Reactivate chapters do not need to complete the application.
- Email an Excel Roster - Please include the following: Name, Address, Email Address, and High School Graduation Year (if within the past 10 years), type of membership (IL Annual, IL Lifetime Membership, National Annual, National Lifetime Membership).
- Mail an Affiliate Check (see above for the choices on type of affiliation) to IL FFA Alumni and Supporters, 3221 Northfield Drive, Springfield, IL 62702. (Please include any checks collected for lifetime memberships or write one check for both.)
- 2 Types of Lifetime Memberships:
- $250 - National FFA Alumni ($200) and IL FFA Alumni ($50) Lifetime Membership - Check comes to IL FFA Alumni
- $50 - IL FFA Alumni Only Lifetime Membership
- National FFA Alumni and Supporters - How to Start an Alumni Handbook
- Tax Information for Starting a Chapter (Reactivating a Chapter, please contact Patti Davis):
- 990 and 990N ($25,000 or Less)
- Instructions to obtain an EIN # from the IRS.
- Application to apply for National FFA Alumni 501c3 Group Extension (Please do not send in until Patti Davis contacts you with your Charter #). For group extension questions, please email National FFA at groupexemption@ffa.org.
