Speaking of National Chapter Award, we still need judges:  Click here if you are willing or interested in judging the National Chapter Award Applications.  Round 1 judging will take place online, it will begin April 19, 2021 and is to be completed by April 23, 2021.  Round 2 judging will also take place online and begins on April 28, 2021 and is to be completed by May 4, 2021.

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in coordination with the Illinois Center for Specialized Professional Support (ICSPS) will be hosting a five-day-long virtual event on May 3-7, 2021 highlighting career paths within career and technical education.  The goal of the career palooza is to inform, educate, and expose current high school students to the benefits and opportunities within a CTE program of study across Illinois.  This event will create an opportunity to discuss what career and technical education is and how it can impact their future?  Mark your calendars for the first week of May with a combination of live and on-demand videos, this week-long event will explore different career options within CTE and share how students can get started on a career path NOW!
