Agribusiness Management
The Monmouth College Business and Economics Department seeks candidates for a full-time, tenure track position to design, teach, shepherd and lead a new program in Agribusiness Management and to teach a few traditional business courses. The successful candidate will have an appropriate Masters’ or Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics or a traditional business discipline. The candidate should have the ability to develop and teach new courses in agribusiness. The candidate will have a leadership role in the new program including the freedom to design a program that embraces the spirit and values of a small liberal arts college.
The candidate should have a broad understanding of modern Midwest agribusiness in variety of contexts including production, marketing, management, strategy and stewardship. In addition to being a highly effective teacher and advisor, this faculty member must seek and supervise agribusiness internships.
