*Sent to all schools in District 1
A week or so ago, Dr. Thieman sent out an email requesting you to complete a short survey on your thoughts related to curriculum and the types of resources you would like to see developed or updated for Illinois Agricultural Education. If you completed this survey, thank you. For those that have not, please take a few minutes to complete this survey as it will provide us with some direction as to what curriculum materials you would like to see developed. The information and links from the previous email are below. We thank you in advance for completing this survey.
ISBE is asking for teacher feedback and comments related to curriculum for all Career and Technical Education areas. I am leading this project and would greatly appreciate if you would share your thoughts on your needs for agricultural education curriculum resources.
There is a link specifically for agricultural education and a single link for all other career and technical education areas. Please feel free to share the CTE link with any of the CTE teachers in your district as well!
Agricultural Education link: 2019 Illinois Curriculum Questionnaire: Secondary Agricultural Education
All other CTE areas link: 2019 Illinois Curriculum Questionnaire: CTE (Excluding AgED)
--The questionnaire will be open until Wednesday, September 18 at 11:59 pm.
--It should not take more than 5-10 minutes to complete. Thanks in advance for providing your feedback, it is very important to us that we are responding to the needs of the field. Our goal is to get at least 60% of the CTE teachers in Illinois to respond.
--Feedback on this questionnaire will help guide future decisions related to curriculum and resources for Illinois CTE teachers, including agricultural educators.
Thank you again for your help by participating and/or passing the link along to others. -- Jay Solomonson Facilitating Coordination in Ag Education (FCAE) Phone: 309-863-5091 Cell: 309-798-6571 Email: jsolomonson@ilaged.org Address: 1601 52nd Ave #8, Moline, IL 61265
