  3. Illinois Valley Community College- College Fair

I am excited to announce an opportunity for students to explore agriculture opportunities at Illinois Valley Community College and Illinois universities.

IVCC is hosting an ag open house and college fair Tuesday, Oct. 8 in Rooms CTC124-125 of the Peter Miller Community Technology Center.

Day and evening sessions are offered:

-  Session 1 is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (lunch included) and

-  Session 2 is 6 to 8 p.m.

This year, lunch will be provided for everyone attending Session 1.

Please pick the session that works best for you and your students.

The program will include an overview of the IVCC agriculture program and a chance to meet with representatives from Illinois agriculture universities. The event also includes a campus tour and a chance to meet IVCC ag instructors and students. I encourage anyone who would like to learn more about our program or state university agriculture programs to attend.

Please preregister online by Friday, Oct. 4 at www.ivcc.edu/agopenhouse

A flyer is available online at www.ivcc.edu/agopenhouse. Please make copies to give to students and post in your school.

We welcome all students thinking about ag at IVCC or a four-year school to attend. Parents and guardians are also welcome and encouraged to attend. Contact me with any questions at Willard_mott@ivcc.edu or (815) 224-0413.

Sincerely,
