We do a lot of work across Rural America and decided to create an awards program that recognizes the individuals who build, serve and inspire our rural communities.

The second annual Rural Spirit Awards will honor three individuals who are cultivating economic development, innovation and volunteerism in rural communities across the U.S.

We would love your participation. This year, we have three award categories open to the public: Rural Advocacy; Community Service; and Next Gen. Being in the industry, I thought you may know someone who would be great to nominate! Winners will receive $2,000 each to donate to a non-profit organization of their choice. Additionally, winners will have the opportunity to win a chance for OBP to distribute their story across various digital and traditional media platforms. All winners will be announced and recognized during an awards reception at OBP’s St. Louis home office on November 4^th 2019.

Nominations for winners will be accepted through October 2nd, 2019 and can be made at ruralspiritawards.com.
