Agriculture Literacy Coordinator Position Available

The Effingham County Farm Bureau is searching to fill its part-time Agriculture Literacy Coordinator position.

The Agriculture Literacy Coordinator will be responsible for providing and creating science-based curriculum material, presentations, classroom lessons, and training opportunities to audiences pre-K through adult. The coordinator will be responsible for agricultural, environmental, natural resource programs and other curriculum.

Qualifications of this position include interest and knowledge of agriculture, sound leadership and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong public speaking abilities.  Physical requirements include the ability to drive to and from presentations, coordinate lessons, and some lifting of materials.  Classroom management experience is preferred but not required.
