I. District V Job Interview CDE and SIU Invitational Job Interview CDE-

Registration Deadline: Friday November 1st
2. EVENT DATE: Wednesday November 6th 5pm
3. Cost: FREE FOR MEMBERS COMPETING IN THE
VARSITY EVENT. $5 PER MEMBER FOR
THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE JUNIOR
VARSITY EVENT

All resumes and cover letters must be postmarked or emailed to quin.colson@siu.edu no later than Friday November 1st . Materials sent after this deadline will receive point deductions during the contest.

Only the top TWO participants from each section's varsity contest will be eligible to compete in the District V Job Interview CDE. Even though the Section chairs will send me the names of these participants Please go ahead and fill out the registration google form to verify your students participation.

If your section held a JV Job Interview CDE, the top 5 participants from that contest will be eligible to compete at the SIU Invitational Job Interview CDE. If there was no JV Job Interview contest held in your section, each school is limited to two students, up to the first 25 students that register for the event. If you have questions about whether your section is sending students from your JV event or whether each school can send their own, please contact your section chair. Section chairs should also send the names of participants advancing from a JV contest to hheavner7@siu.edu to verify those that register for this event.

These contests will follow state rules with the exception of interviews being 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes, and there will be no telephone interviews. Please see attached rules for the state contest for further details.
II. District V Ag Issues CDE

2. Date: Wednesday November 6, 2019 3 PM - by appointment
3: Cost: $ 15 per team
4. Location: SIU Ag Building (1205 Lincoln Drive)
