The administration and school board of Grand Ridge CCSD95 is excited to announce that they will offer middle school AFNR courses and elementary agricultural literacy programming for the 2021-2022 school year.
Grand Ridge CCSD95 is seeking a qualified Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor to begin teaching grades 6-8 AFNR courses and elementary enrichment courses for full-time employment in the 2021-2022 school year. The administration plans to apply for the Ag Education 3 Circle Grant. A community advisory council has been established and an FFA Alumni is currently being formed to support the new program.
The administration and community are looking forward to an energetic teacher who will develop student excitement to explore AFNR careers, participate in community service, and learn about entrepreneurship and local businesses.
The teaching assignment will include grades 6-8 Exploratory AFNR courses for half the teaching assignment, and the remainder of the time will be spent teaching exploratory courses for grades K-5 (similar to how a first grade class visits an art or music teacher once or twice a week). |
