Ron Smith passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019. 

Ron taught agriculture at Galena, Kansas and most of his career at Greenville until 1987 and served as the Guidance Counselor at Greenville until he retired.  From the words of Steve Zimmerman; "He was a great asset to the Greenville agriculture program and FFA, not only as a teacher but then as the guidance counselor."

A Celebration of life visitation will be held at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church from 1 until 4 p.m. Saturday December 7, 2019 .  In lieu of flowers the family prefer new or gently used tools which will be directed to the Greenville High School shop program or donations to the Greenville FFA at Greenville High School. These may be made at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home or at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
