Peotone High School in Section 10 and about 35 miles south of Chicago is currently looking for a second Agriculture/Industrial Arts teacher to start in the 2021-2022 school year to join Abby Jacobs.

This position is expected to be an extended contract with additional work days before and after student attendance days.

Classes to be taught include:

-Introduction to Career and Technical Education

-Construction Applications

-Architecture  

-and potentially Ag Mechanics

Becoming a Co-FFA Advisor is also a possibility if the candidate desires, with the acceptance of the 3-circles grant and an extended contract.

Annual salary is regionally competitive with consideration of previous, relevant teaching experience. Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education pays the full employee share of pension contributions, 100% of the health insurance costs for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy.
