Valmeyer High School, located in Section 22, is seeking a full time agriculture teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Courses taught will be determined by the strengths of the hired candidate and the high school needs.
Facilities include a classroom, ag mechanics shop, greenhouse, and an extensive aquaculture setup. Within the program there are approximately 120 students taking an agriculture education course.
More information can be found at the school website and/or the FFA facebook page. Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License. Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. This position also includes an FFA stipend and/or the Three Circles Grant.
