  Vacancy: Waterloo High School (2022-2023)

The Waterloo High School located just south of St. Louis in Monroe County and Section 22 will be hiring a co-ag teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.  The new teacher will be working with Mr. Colton Henry. Course offerings include Vet Tech, Biotechnology, BSAA, Horticulture, Intro to Ag, Ag Business Management, Agriculture Mechanics, Principles of Engineering, and 8th grade agriculture. The successful candidate will work with Mr. Henry to determine final teaching assignments.  Approximately 200 (9-12) grade students are taking ag courses out of 875 in the student body. 

Facilities include 2 classrooms, an ag mechanics lab, an engineering lab, a greenhouse, an agriscience lab, an aquaculture system, and a landscaping area. The Waterloo FFA Chapter is well established and has enjoyed success as a chapter at the state and national level as well as individual FFA member accomplishments. 

Salary will be based on the collective bargaining agreement with 11 month extended contract and 3 Circle Grant eligible dependent upon grant funding.  Very supportive administration, community, and FFA Alumni.
