  Vacancy: Stillman Valley- Agricultural Education and/or Industrial Arts Education Position

Position Title:  Agricultural Education and/or Industrial Arts Education (Full-Time/Permanent)
Salary/Benefits:  In accordance with the current Board of Education and Stillman Valley Education Association contract.
Duties:  In addition to teaching duties, the individual employed will be encouraged to serve on school and district­-wide committees. Opportunities for coaching and club sponsorship may also exist.
Qualifications:   Stillman Valley High School is seeking a full-time Industrial Arts Technology Teacher and/or a full-time Agriculture Teacher. SVHS is a progressive, national award winning high school that provides a variety of courses in our Ag and Industrial Arts departments.  These courses include: CAD, Woodworking, Construction, Introduction to Industrial Arts, Introduction to Agriculture, Plant Science, Animal Science. Ag Mechanics, Ag Business Management, Greenhouse, Horticulture, Ag Metal Fabrication, and Welding, providing a well-rounded education for our students. 
Candidates must hold or be completing licensure through the ISBE or have attained the required number of degree hours in the fields of Agriculture and/or Industrial Arts. The employee will be expected to work collaboratively with other faculty members and administration.  Teachers who have other licensures but have a strong aptitude for Industrial Arts Technology Education are also encouraged to apply.
