District Administrators:
- I have been asked to lead a stakeholder engagement discussion in a couple of weeks for ISBE's Teacher Licensure group to identify issues and come up with potential solutions related to the state-wide CTE Teacher shortage.
- In the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years, ISBE's reports indicate there were only 10 total CTE teacher positions that went unfilled in the entire state each year. Based on my discussions with those in the field, I believe that to be an incomplete picture of the CTE Teacher Pipeline.
- I am asking school district administrators from districts that have CTE programs to complete the very short survey (linked below) to help ISBE collect data that will add more context to the CTE teacher pipeline issues.
- The survey should not take more than 5-10 minutes to complete. We really value your feedback and your opinions on this topic is essential to our decision-making.

Thank you in advance for your help with this survey!
