We are just over two months away from the Murray State University FFA Field Day scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2020, in the Cherry Expo Center!
We are excited you and your students will join us at the Bill Cherry Expo Center, on College Farm Road, Wednesday, April 22, 2020! Please note that check-in for preregistered chapters runs from 8:00-9:45. Our welcome will begin at 9:45 with Career Development Events scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp!

The following events will again be offered for your students:
Team Events - all team events have four participants with the top 3 scores counting for final team total. A chapter may enter more than one team, but those teams must be pre-determined by the advisor.
Agricultural Mechanics
Dairy evaluation
Floriculture
Horse evaluation
Livestock evaluation
Nursery
Poultry evaluation (This is the Kentucky State Finals event, so no partial teams are permitted to participate) - refer to
kyffa.org for official state rules
Small Animal Tech
Soil evaluation
Tobacco evaluation (new in 2020, one three- or four-person teach (top 3 scores count for team total) and includes Burley, Dark Fired, and Air Cured plus a written exam)
Individual Events - only 1 participant allowed per chapter

The Purchase & Pennyrile Region Welding CDE will also be held in the Howton Agriculture building. (Advisors of welding participants must transport their welding teams to and from the Howton Agriculture building for check-in and competition.
***Participants in these events MUST have a signed permission slip. Go to
https://www.murraystate.edu/academics/CollegesDepartments/HutsonSchoolOfAgriculture/fieldday/index.aspx to download each respective waiver and release form. See "Tractor Driving Permission Form", "Rodeo Event Permission Form" or "Horsemanship Permission Form" respectively.
Horsemanship participants' forms must also be NOTARIZED. Absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Horsemanship participants must bring and wear their own approved riding helmet.
All registrations must be completed no later than Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
