MARK your calendars! The Marketing Plan Invitational CDE is coming to Illinois!
This year, Richland Community College will be hosting a Marketing Plan CDE Invitational on May 6, 2020, 1:00 – 6:00pm, on the RCC campus in the Dwayne O Andreas Agribusiness Education Center.
If you have students interested in the marketing field of Agribusiness, the Marketing Plan Career Development Event (CDE) may be just what they are looking for to explore this career path. In this CDE, a team of three students research and present a marketing plan for an agricultural product, supply or service. More students, perhaps a class, may help with the research for the plan.
This contest has two parts, a written marketing plan, and a presentation in front of a panel of judges.
The national CDE rules will be followed at this invitational, and can be found in the FFA National Career and Leadership Development Events Handbook

Written Plans will be due by 5:00 pm on April 14, 2020 and will be submitted electronically to Dave Shiley at dshiley@richland.edu
The top 10 teams, based on the written plan scores, will be invited to present their plan to a panel of judges on May 6th. Teams that are selected to present their plan on May 6th will be notified no later than April 21, 2020.
