The Bureau Valley agriculture program has recently earned many distinguishing honors, including 3-Star National Chapter Award Recipient, Top 10 National Finalist National Chapter Award, Top 10 National Finalist Growing Leaders, Greenhand Quiz Bowl State Finalist, several section officers, and state degree recipients. An active Bureau Valley Ag Boosters group has been very helpful with many of the FFA chapter activities and classroom programs. Facilities currently include a field plot, Ag Mechanics shop, greenhouse, landscaping areas, chicken coop, and tractor restoration shed.

The courses to be taught currently include Ag Mech & Tech 1, Ag Mech & Tech 2, Agricultural Construction and Technology, Agribusiness Management (counts as Consumer Education credit), and Natural Resources and Conservation; these courses may be flexible depending on the qualified candidates specific skills and interests.
