Coming from a family heavily involved in agriculture, Josiah Cruikshank was encouraged to join an agriculture class by family members before he found his place in the agricultural sales career development event. He soon began serving as a leader at the local and district levels. “I’m passionate about creative problem-solving,” Cruikshank said. “After gaining necessary technical skills in business and engineering from Oregon State University, I hope to apply my passion and skills toward finding new and better ways to support agriculturists as we feed, clothe, and shelter the world.” This year, Cruikshank hopes to live a life of service and motivate others to do the same.

Josiah will be at the convention throughout the week, he will be our keynote speaker on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the 2nd General Session that begins at 6:30 p.m.  He will also be conducting workshops, speaking at meal functions and helping out around the convention center.  Please be sure to give him a BIG Illinois Welcome and help make him feel right at home during our 94th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention.
