Hi ILCAE Members:
Our next Illinois Leadership Council for Agricultural Education (ILCAE) meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 11 am - 3 pm, with inperson and virtual options.

Park in the visitor lot and walk up the steps to the main entrance. At the reception area, give your name and you will be given a visitor badge for the day. Meeting is in room 204 next to Smith Hall.
By June 1st, please RSVP for a count of those attending and not attending. Options are available for the afternoon and evening with the agriculture teacher conference. The noon meal and IAVAT reception and banquet meal are complimentary.
A meeting agenda and packet of information will be sent prior to the meeting.

*Release of the FCAE Request for Proposals (RFP)

*Ag teacher shortage which is nearing 100 openings so far

On behalf of the Illinois Association of Vocational Agriculture Teachers Board of Directors, we would like to formally invite you to the 100th IAVAT Conference at the DoubleTree Hotel and Conference Center (10 Brickyard Dr, Bloomington, IL 61701). We will be hosting special celebrations for the 100th anniversary of IAVAT. ILCAE members are invited on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 for a Retired Ag Teachers Meeting (3-4pm), Exhibitor Social (4-5pm), 100th Anniversary Reception with ag teachers (5-6pm), and the annual Awards Banquet (6-8pm).
