Prairie Central High School, located in Section 9, is seeking a full-time agriculture instructor for 2022-2023 school year. This position offers sharing FFA Advisor duties with the current instructors Kyle Miller, Tyson Stork, and Becky Freed. 

This program offers a variety of agriculture courses ranging from ag mechanics, ag business/economics, ag production, horticulture and natural resources. This program has an active FFA chapter, with strong support from the community, alumni, and administration. Facilities include an ag mechanics shop, welding area and a new greenhouse.

Qualifications

Appropriate licensure as well as successful teaching or student teaching experience. 

Salary/Benefits

Competitive, per Collective Bargaining Agreement. Includes nearly full board-paid individual health insurance. FFA Stipend. The school participates in the Three Circle Grant.
