If you're looking for a chance to make a difference in an exceptional student's life, Southside Occupational has the perfect opportunity for you!
Southside Occupational is a transition center serving students aged 16-22 who have disabilities. We provide students with educational training opportunities in the areas of Independent Functioning, Social Learning, Vocational, and Applied Academics.
We are incredibly proud of the urban agriculture program we have built and are looking for our next exceptional teacher. Our campus has a large urban farm woven into our outdoor space; honeybees, orchards, vegetables, fruit, poultry, and forestry all provide opportunities for our students to learn employment skills as they prepare for life after school.
Every Ag student completes an SAE and participates in the Section Vo-Ag Fair.

Ag/AFNR CTE licensure is required. The program has two wonderful Special Education teachers who work in the Ag/Hort department to aid the teacher.
