2022 Agriculture Career Day at Southern Illinois University

Date: Thursday, October 6^th

Location: University Farms

Registration will open at 8am on University Farms with workshops to follow. Lunch will be served at 12:15 and we should be wrapped up by 1pm. 

This event will provide your students with the opportunity to explore the various fields of the agricultural industry and their careers. We will be featuring workshops across University Farms as well as on campus that cover topics such as Wildlife Monitoring, Agronomy, Agriculture Education, and more!

Students get to choose which track of workshops they would like to attend:

Track 1: Sydensticker Nobbe John Deere, Agronomy, & Fermentation Science Institute

Track 2: Agriculture Education, Wildlife Monitoring Techniques, & Animal Science - Equine

If you would like to stay after lunch for a University Farms tour or meet with some of our current ag students (Agbassadors) to talk about our agriculture programs, feel free to reach out! We would be happy to arrange that for you.
