Hi ICAE Members:

Thank you for your participation on Thursday.  I wanted to follow-up with three items below.  Your time, efforts, and commitment are appreciated.  Dean

1 - Ag Ed Curriculum Investigation and Plan    Attached is an excel doc with 3 tabs - investigation, plan, new lessons.  Feel free to view the other state and vendor sites in the website column.  I copied the plan tab below that includes login for our IL Ag Ed Core Curriculum at www.myCAERT.com.  

2 - FCAE staff monthly reports - click to review.  Feedback is always appreciated.  Dean's February report is not uploaded yet though it will be by Sunday evening.

3 - 2019 Ag, Food, & Natural Resources (AFNR) Report. Click to review.  The full report and each page are linked for a specific topic(page) of the report.  Please forward to colleagues.

$12,500/year
$35.41/school with an agriculture program/year (353 schools)
$28.34/ag teacher/year (441 teachers)
-FY18 contract deliverables for Plant 5E, Animal 5E, Horticulture 5E are complete.

4 – New Curriculum Development
Phase 1 - Revision of AgriBusiness library – 87 lessons =  $100,000
Phase 2 - New lessons and resources development – 60 lessons =  $150,000
  -Curriculum alignment to state standards 
  -Reading level of Eunits
  -Assessment question quality to include higher order thinking
  -Inclusion of video links for each lesson
  -Inclusion of more lab-based(Engaging) activities for each lesson
Phase 3 – Series of professional learning two day trainings: summer, fall, spring
