Illinois FFA Chapters are invited to participate in the 24^th LLCC Agronomy CDE and Dairy Foods Workout, which will be held on Wednesday, November 16^th in the Kreher Agriculture Center on the main campus in Springfield. Registration will be held in the Kreher Agriculture Center starting at 5:30pm, with the events starting at 6:00 pm. 

The Agronomy CDE will follow the state rules, including a 25 Question exam, crop, weed, equipment identification, insect identification, and four placing classes of grain or forages. Placings and reasons will be given immediately after the students fining. Teachers and students are welcome to examine the rings after the contest for discussion and questions. We will use the judgingcard.com CDE scantron form for contestants. Schools may bring up to 9 members, with the top three scores counting with ribbons being awarded to the top teams and students.

Continuing this year is a workout for schools preparing a dairy foods team for the State Event. We will have identification rings prepared, but space problems preclude us from holding a full contest. The rings will be offered to schools as a practice. Official placings and discussion will be held after each ring.
