1.  95th National FFA Convention Results for Illinois Association FFA

CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Gracie Murphy, 2021-22 Illinois FFA State Secretary was chosen as the National FFA Eastern Region Vice President. The Macomb native will take a year off from college and help represent the National FFA.  

The 95th National FFA Convention and Expo has concluded in Indianapolis, with Illinois FFA members getting some well-deserved recognition. Numerous Illinois members and chapters were on stage to carry home hardware and a lifetime of memories.  Click here to view the list of the final rankings for Illinois FFA at the 95th National FFA Convention.  

The Cambridge FFA Chapter was named the National Premier Chapter for Growing Leaders.

Lizzie Schafer of the Taylorville FFA Chapter was named the National Beef Placement Proficiency Award Winner. She is pictured with her FFA Advisor (and mother) Mrs. Sue Schafer.

Ty Steffen of the Newark FFA Chapter was named the National Diversified Crop Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award Winner. He is pictured with his FFA Advisor (and father) Mr. Joe Steffen.  

The National FFA Agriscience winners in the area of Environmental Science and Natural Resource Systems Division 4, were Greyson Applebee & Gehrig Bunselmeyer from the Maroa-Forsyth FFA Chapter pictured with their FFA Advisor, Mrs. Cassie Crouch Chapter

The National FFA Agriscience Winner in the area of Environmental Science and Natural Resource Systems Division 5, Samantha Alvarez is from the Central Burlington FFA Chapter also pictured with her FFA Advisor Mr. Ryan Robinson. 

The National FFA winner in Agriscience Social Systems, Olivia Shike of the Unity Tolono FFA Chapter, pictured with her Advisor, Mr. Rich McCabe.  

The national winning Dairy Cattle Evaluation team was the Prairie Central FFA Chapter. Members of the team are pictured with one of their FFA Advisors, Mrs. Becky Freed.  Check out their two additional photos that show their reaction at the moment…priceless.  

Delena Erbsen, from the Eastland FFA Chapter, was named the NATIONAL WINNER in Dairy Cattle Handling.

State Agronomy & State Dairy Foods CDEs will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the University of Illinois, Stock Pavilion at 10:00 a.m. (Registration 8:00-9:30).  State Dairy Foods CDE is a Mandatory Registration and will close on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.  State Agronomy CDE Early Bird Registration will end on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11: 59 p.m. and then regular registration rates will continue.  Please click the links above with the detailed registration information and site information.  If you have any questions, please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org.
