Lawrenceville High School, located in Section 23, is seeking a full time agriculture teacher to begin in January 2023. The new teacher will be working with current agriculture teacher, Ms. Johnna Thompson.
Facilities include a classroom with Promethean Board, access to a mechanics shop with welding booths and CNC table, a woodworking shop, as well as onsite chickens and coop.
Within the program there are currently 133 unduplicated students taking an agriculture education course. Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of the hired individual, include Introduction to Career and Tech Education, Natural Resources, Ag Power, and Plant and Animal Science.
