The Kendall County Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking an Education Coordinator.  The candidate should have strong written, verbal and customer service skills. In addition, applicant shall be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and organized. Teaching experience is required.

Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and administer all aspects of the education program
  • Classroom presentations and teacher workshops
  • Grant Writing
  • Assist with special events, community outreach and conservation event planning
  • Assist other staff and federal partners, as needed
This position is based on a 25-30 hour work week with occasional monthly board meetings and special events. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. The compensation is commensurate on experience; benefits are available.
