Galena (District 1)- Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor

Galena High School, located in Section 1 in northern Jo Daviess County, has a full-time opening for a secondary agriculture teacher and FFA advisor for the 2020-2021 school year. The courses to be taught include  Intro to Ag, Animal Science, Horticulture, Ag Science, Consumer Ed, BSAA, and PSAA.  Applicants need to meet the State of Illinois certification to teach students in grades 6-12 with appropriate endorsements and credentials.  An extended contract and stipend will be negotiated.   A strong community and district administrative support exist for the future of this program.
