Astoria  (District 3)  - Agricultural Education Instructor/FFA Advisor
Status: Open
Astoria High School, located in Section 12 is seeking a High School Agricultural Education Instructor/FFA Advisor. 

During the 2022-2023 school year, there were 36 ag students/FFA members in the program. Current classes include Introduction to Agriculture, Ag Leadership, Ag Business Management, Advanced Ag Mechanics, and Advanced Biological Science Applications in Agriculture. Facilities include classroom, office, ag mechanics lab, greenhouse, garden, fruit trees, and aquaculture space. The Ag shop is fully equipped with planer, table saw, lathe, hand tools, as well as, welding equipment.

Salary is per collective bargaining agreement. TRS and Insurance Paid by district. The district does participate in the 3 Circles Grant Program.
