If your term expires in 2020 and you would like to stay on your committee please let me know. If your term does not expire until 2021 or 2022 (in the case of recruitment and retention) and you will no longer be able to serve please let me know. If you are not currently a District Representative on a Committee and are interested in serving on one please let me know. We will also be looking for review committee members for the State and American Degree review committees as well as electing and FFA Board and FFA Board Alternate representative.
Some voting reminders. In order to serve in an IAVAT elected position at the Section, District, or State Level you must be an Active IAVAT member with your dues paid. As a reminder New Teachers who will be starting in the 2020-2021 school year you are not eligible to vote currently. If you are changing Districts due to accept a new teaching position you should be voting in the District you were in during the 2019-2020 school year. Especially for the State Business meeting on Thursday we will be using the same polling system that was used for State FFA Officer Elections and members were to register in advance. Below is the list of District 2 delegates that are registered.
If you overlooked this registration that came out with FFA Delegate registration you need to email John Edgar jedgar@illinoisffa.org and I immediately and we can not guarantee we will be able to register you given the quick turnaround.
