Good afternoon fair managers!
I just spoke with the Illinois Department of Agriculture and it sounds like all of the 2019-20 fair payments have been submitted to the comptroller. We don't know when they will be paid, but at least they have all been submitted now.
I also got other good news, they are about to finish the tabulations of the pro-rata for the coming year fairs. I anticipate receiving that from the state very soon and when the programmer gets the system updated I will let you know.
Some of you have already had fairs- please remember no matter what you must always submit a fair report within 30 days of the completion of a fair- even if it is marked "draft" and then you submit a final copy after revisions are made. Failure to submit within 30 days will result in a penalty of money deducted for every day it is late.
