Hello Illinois Agriculture Education.

It was a joy getting to meet so many of you last week at the Illinois FFA convention, and I am looking forward to meeting even more of you this week at the IAVAT conference.

I am pleased to announce the much anticipated day has arrived.  The Three Circles and Agriculture Education Incentive Grants are fully funded and ready for you to apply. 

I know it was an unexpected delay, but the additional $800,000 was an unexpected but welcome surprise.  I understand getting these grants turned in by the 30^th of June my be difficult, but I encourage you, please get them in so that those extended hours can begin July 1.

I am sure there will be many questions that will need answers, but I will be out of the office the rest of this week.  I am currently in Tinley Park for the ISBE Career Connections Conference, and then will be traveling to Carbondale for the IAVAT Conference.  I will get to those questions as soon as I can.
