The Illinois Foundation FFA, in partnership with the Farm Family Resource Initiative SIU School of Medicine Center for Rural Health and Social Service Development, is once again offering grants to support an increased awareness of mental health and wellness in your school and/or community. This grant program will provide funds up to $1,000 to support local initiatives. The funds are intended to provide resources to support FFA chapters across Illinois.
All chapters are eligible to apply for the grant, but priority will be given to those that have not previously received funds.
To apply for this grant, please click here.
All grant applications are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday, September 27th.
Recipients will be notified on Tuesday, October 8th.
Upon completion of the project, grant recipients will need to provide a summary of their event, including when and what was done as part of the program/events, how many individuals were reached, and a narrative statement on the impact of the event to achieving the goal of increased awareness of mental health and wellness efforts. Grant recipients will be required to submit 3-5 photos of their program or event, along with the summary.
Programs/events can take place during either the fall or spring semester. For fall events, the grant summary and photos are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, December 31st, while for spring events, they are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on Sunday, June 1st.
