The Highland Community College Agriculture Department invites your junior and senior students to participate in our third annual Northwest Illinois Agriculture Industry Expo on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Highland Community College. At this event, students will have the opportunity to connect and network with more than 40 employers, experience the agriculture industry through hands-on activities, and learn about Highland Agriculture degrees and certificates. The schedule for the expo is shown below, and the flier for the event is attached for your reference.

 

9:00 - 9:15 a.m. - Welcome

9:15 - 10:50 a.m. - HCC Ag Pathway Rotations - Building E

11:00 - 11:45 a.m. - Profession Networking - Building S, Gymnasium

11:45 - 12:45 p.m. - Lunch & HCC Ag Highlights - Building S, Gymnasium

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Optional HCC Campus Tour

 

By uniting agricultural employers with future employees at this event, we want to expose students to diverse career options available in agriculture. It is our intent that students in attendance can link their personal interests to classes and degrees, and most importantly, to professional opportunities available in our region. We hope this event encourages, inspires, and invites the next generation of agriculturalists to plant their future, right HERE in northwest Illinois. We truly hope that you and your junior and senior students can join us. Registration deadline is Tuesday, November 26.
