Foundation Hopper Funds Deadline

The Hopper Funds Incentive Program was originally established in 2013 and amended in 2017. The purpose of the program is to reward chapters who fully participate in the Local Collection Drive.

In 2017, the Foundation Board determined that in order to receive Hopper funds, a benchmark of $1,000 contributed must be reached. For all chapters reaching and exceeding $1,000.00, 5% of their total collection drive will be put in their Hopper Funds Account.

These funds can be used for Chapter registrations to the following four Illinois FFA activities:

• State FFA Convention

• Illinois FFA Leadership Camp

• 212 Conference

• BUILD Conference

Please note, all Hopper Funds received during a school year must be used during that school year, no carryover will be allowed for our budgeting purposes. At this time, the Hopper Fund rule of having the money spent by June 30th is still in place. 

However, Hopper Funds can be used for the following dues/activities until June 30, 2021:

• FFA Dues or Affiliate Fees

• Any outstanding Build Conference Registrations

• Ground Zero Conference Registrations

• Convention Registration

• Camp Registration
