Tri-Point High School in northern Ford County, located in Section 10, is seeking a full-time teacher with AFNR licensure as well as licensure in Science or other endorsement areas to share teaching and FFA Advisor roles with the current Agriculture teacher. In addition to teaching Agriculture classes, this teacher will be involved in expanding the SAE for All program and expand current programs with a focus on career pathways and core Science courses.
This is an extended year contract and participation in the 3-circle grant is planned.
This award winning program boasts a variety of agricultural courses and an active FFA chapter, with strong support from the community, alumni, and administration. Facilities include a newly renovated food science lab, mechanics shop, and dedicated AFNR classroom with strong technology access including student one-to-one program .

In addition to supporting SAE for All, this teacher will develop relationships with students in our RTI for All program, and in Science or other classroom teaching assignments as qualified for and needed. We believe that diversity is key to successfully reaching all our students.
Qualifications
Required Illinois Professional Educator License in Agriculture Education, with consideration given to those with additional endorsements specifically in Science education. Non-traditional candidates will be considered.
Salary/Benefits
Tri-Point CUSD #6J participates in the Three Circle Grant. In addition, salary and benefits are offered per the negotiated collective bargaining agreement including 100% board-paid TRS, tuition reimbursement, and health and life insurance.
