9:15 a.m. ISU Bus Picks Teachers Up at Marriott Hotel and Travels to Ropp Ag Center

10:00 am -12:00 pm Horticulture labs 3-4 with Dr. Kopsell  (Click here to rank the 3 to 4 labs you wish to see)

12:00pm-12:30pm Lunch Provided

12:30 pm-3:00 pm 3-D Ag Structures Model Building and VRTEX 360 Virtual Welding with Dr. Solomonson

3:00 pm return to the hotel

 

4:00 p.m. Student Programming Concludes

WHAT TO WEAR: Close Toed Shoes

Lunch will be provided and you will be contacted about your order after registering for the workshop. Options include:
All boxed lunches include kettle chips, cookie, & a bottle of water. Main entry options include:
1. Prosciutto, ham, genoa salami, provolone, shredded lettuce, tomato, vinegar & oil on a baguette
2. Grilled chicken breast, lettuce, parmesan cheese & Caesar dressing in a wrap
3. Sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, spinach & pesto infused mayo on focaccia

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Miller Park Zoo for a Behind the Scenes Tour
     LOCATION: 1020 S Morris Ave, Bloomington, IL 61701
     WHERE TO PARK: Park in the Zoo Parking Lot
     WHERE TO GO: Meet the Zoo Staff Educator at the Front Entrance
     BRING: Comfortable walking shoes and a camera for some great photos with the animals!
11:30 a.m. Travel back to the Marriott Hotel
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch at the hotel
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Animal Science Ag in the Classroom Activities with IL AITC
4:00 p.m. Student Programming Concludes
