BannerFY26 Incentive Funding & Three Circle Budget Application Available to Complete- Due 8/15/25

The FY26 Incentive Funding Budget Application and FY26 Ag Teacher Three Circle Budget Applications have been released in the IWAS system.  These budget applications will need to be submitted to ISBE by August 15th in order to have a July 1st start date.  Below are directions & links to help you get those applications completed.  Please reach out to your FCAE program advisor with any questions.

FY 26 Incentive Funding Budget Application Directions

Please use this document to assist with answering questions & identifying object/function codes.  To complete your initial IWAS Budget Application for IFG, follow the steps below. 

  • Log in to IWAS portal

  • Select System Listings

  • Select the Agricultural Education — Incentive

  • Create a new project for the respective fiscal year (box appears at the top of the page)

  • Complete the Applicant Information (make sure to select “Regular Project Year”). Click “Save Page.”

  • On Amendments tab, select “Original Application” and click “Save Page.”

  • Complete Budget pages by inputting the required information on each:

    • Indirect Cost Calculation (Select “LEAs.” Click “Save Page.”)

    • Cost Share (Select “No.”  Click “Save Page.)

    • Budget Detail (Input respective expenditures with correct codes. Click “Save Page.”)

    • Budget (Read and review for accuracy. Revise Budget Details, if needed.)

    • Payment Schedule (Input payments. Click “Calculate Total.” Click “Save Page.”)

  • Complete Programmatic Risk Assessment by selecting appropriate responses.

  • Complete Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) pages. Review information, check verification box on each page and click “Save Page.”

  • Complete Assurances pages. Review information, check verification box on each page and click “Save Page.”

  • On Submit page, click and run the “Consistency Check.” Make any identified corrections.

  • Submit to next level for approval.

FY 26 Three Circle Grant Budget Application Directions

  • Select the Agricultural Education — Three Circles (FFA and SAE)

  • Create a new project for the respective fiscal year (box appears at the top of the page)

  • Complete the Applicant Information (make sure to select “Regular Project Year”). Click “Save Page.”

  • On Amendments tab, select “Original Application” and click “Save Page.”

  • Complete “Upload” tab by completing and attaching the required Excel Workbook- one/teacher participating in the grant (available here)

  • Complete Budget pages by inputting the required information on each:

    • Indirect Cost Calculation (Select “LEAs.” Click “Save Page.”)

    • Cost Share (Select “No.”  Click “Save Page.)

    • Budget Detail (Ensure details match required Excel upload. Click “Save Page.”)

    • Budget (Read and review for accuracy. Revise Budget Details, if needed.)

    • Payment Schedule (Input payments. Click “Calculate Total.” Click “Save Page.”)
