District V Job Interview CDE and SIU Invitational Job Interview CDE
1. Registration: Now Open- Registration Deadline: Tuesday October 15, 2025
2. EVENT DATE: Wednesday October 22, 2025, 3:30 pm
3. Cost: FREE FOR MEMBERS COMPETING IN THE VARSITY EVENT. $5 PER MEMBER THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE JUNIOR VARSITY EVENT

All resumes, cover letters, and job descriptions must be emailed to by Wednesday, October 15, 2025, to siucffa@gmail.com. Materials sent after this deadline will receive point deductions during the contest.
There will be no need for letters of reference this year all that is needed will be to list 3 references with contact information on their resume.

Only the top TWO participants from each section's varsity contest will be eligible to compete in the District V Job Interview CDE. Even though the Section chairs will send the names of these participants, please go ahead and fill out the registration google form to verify your student's participation.

If your section held a JV Job Interview CDE, the top 5 participants from that contest will be eligible to compete at the SIU Invitational Job Interview CDE. If there was no JV Job Interview contest held in your section, each school is limited to two students, up to the first 25 students that register for the event. If you have questions about whether your section is sending students from your JV event or whether each school can send their own, please contact your section chair. Section chairs should also send the names of participants advancing from a JV contest to megan.dinsmore@siu.edu to verify those that register for this event.

These contests will follow state rules except for interviews being 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes, and there will be no telephone interviews.
