Illinois Central College is excited to offer the Growing Agriculture Science Teachers (GAST) program again this year, and we’d love to invite your students to participate!

As part of the program, students will enroll in AGRI 123: Introduction to Agricultural Education, a fully online, three-credit hour course. In addition to the course, students will have the opportunity to complete a paid internship working alongside you or another ag educator for 40 hours.

Key Details:

  • Students must apply and be accepted to ICC. If you need help with the application or enrollment process, please reach out to Corinne Brown. 

  • They must be eligible for enrollment at ICC, which includes creating a student account and clearing any tasks or holds.

  • Enroll in AGRI 123: Course number 1903

  • Stop by the ICC Library on the East Peoria Campus to check out the textbook for the entire semester! 

  • Students who complete AGRI 123 with a grade of C or better will be reimbursed for their tuition.
