January 17 was National Mentor Day, a perfect opportunity to recognize the power of mentorship in agricultural education and to invite you to be part of something meaningful.
The IAVAT Mentorship Program is returning for the 2026–2027 school year, with support from the University Council, and we’re excited to continue growing a strong, supportive network of mentors and mentees across Illinois.
We would love to get our 2nd-5th year teachers connected with their mentors before the conclusion of the school year.
