Alton High School, located in Section 15, is seeking a High School Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2026–2027 school year.
The successful candidate will hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Agriculture, CTE, or a Provisional CTE license. An additional endorsement in Industrial Arts is preferred. This position is responsible for instruction, classroom management, and professional duties in accordance with the Illinois School Code, Board of Education policies, and district contractual agreements.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Valid Illinois licensure for Madison County with appropriate endorsement(s)
Prior teaching experience in a similar position is preferred
Ability to effectively integrate technology into instruction
Knowledge of district curriculum requirements
Use of developmentally appropriate instructional practices and learning environments
