2026 STATE POULTRY, MEATS, & AG COMMUNICATION CDEs

Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. & ends at 9:30 a.m.; the Contests Start at 10:00 a.m. 

Ag Communication CDE registration begins at 7:30, contest begins at 9:00. Bring Laptops

SITE: University of Illinois Stock Pavilion, 1402 W Pennsylvania Ave, Urbana, IL

STATE POULTRY & STATE MEATS EVALUATION CDEs:

• Varsity Division: Maximum # on a Team: 5 Students

• Early Bird Registration ends on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Please make necessary changes/deletions during the early bird registration period. The Regular Rate begins on Sunday, February 22, 2026. 

• Early Bird-submitted registrations can be changed before February 21st.

• Once the regular rate registration begins and you have changes or deletions, please utilize the Trading Post. Once both schools agree on the “trade”, please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org to make the necessary changes to your registrations when you trade them and update the colors on the Trading Post accordingly.

• Please enter the students’ names into the registration form before the contest.

STATE AG COMMUNICATIONS CDE: MUST BRING A LAPTOP: Bevier Hall, 905 S Goodwin Ave, Urbana, IL 61801

• Maximum on a Team: 4 Students

• Mandatory Registration ends Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Please make necessary changes/deletions before registration ends.

• Contest begins at 9:00am in Bevier Hall, 905 S Goodwin Ave, Urbana, IL 61801. Once registration ends, please utilize the Trading Post.

• Assignments:  Please choose an assignment.  If the registration is submitted, please email pdavis@illinoisffa.org with your choice.

• Non-competing current middle/high school observers will NOT be permitted to attend the contest.

IAVAT Member Fees: 

• $15/Student: Ends Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.; Regular Rate: $25/Student: Starts Saturday, February 22, 2026 

Non-IAVAT Member Fees:

• $60/Student: Ends Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.; Regular Rate: $100/Student: Starts Saturday, February 22, 2026
