The FY 2026 Agricultural Education - Three Circles (FFA and SAE) grant is now fully funded with all allocations at 100% in the IWAS system. All eligible applicants who received an allocation change must create and submit an amendment through the IWAS system.
PLEASE HAVE ALL THREE CIRCLES ALLOCATION AMENDMENTS MADE BY MARCH 1, 2026.
We would like to use all remaining funds from the Ag Ed Line item to provide an upward allocation to the Incentive Funding Grant.

When checking to determine if your district needs to make an amendment, visit IWAS, open the Budget Detail Tab of the Three Circles Grant. If the box titled "Allocation Remaining" is $0, no changes need to be made. If there is an allocation in this box, either positive or negative, an amendment needs to be created.
To create your amendment, click on the radial button in front of the FY26 grant. Click "Create An Amendment". Be sure to go to the Page Lock Control tab and unlock the application (it still gets me every time). On the Upload Tab, you will need to upload the District Salary Match Worksheet for your teacher(s) showing the full allocation. The information from this sheet should then be transferred to the Budget > Budget Detail tab in IWAS. If you have entered your numbers from the worksheet and find there is still an allocation, STOP and contact Jason, myself or our Program Advisors, as your allocation may need to be adjusted in IWAS. On your Payment Schedule be sure to request the funds for March, April, May, or June. Then you should be able to head to the SUBMIT tab, run the consistency check and submit for review.
Once these are all submitted, ISBE will be able to allocate any unobligated funds to the Ag Incentive Funding Budgets. We will then amend those budgets in order that your programs can utilize the funds added to your current allocations. Don't head to your Ag Incentive to amend just yet....I will keep you posted when you can.
