Rockridge High School (District 1)- Agriculture Teacher and Co-FFA Advisor
Rockridge High School, located in Section 4, is looking for an Agriculture/ Industrial Technology teacher for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will be assigned to instruct high school Agriculture courses focused on the following courses: Ag Metal Fabrication, Ag Construction, Ag Mechanics, and Ag Electrical Systems.
This agriculture program boasts a variety of agricultural and industrial technology courses and an active FFA chapter. Current facilities include agriculture classrooms, greenhouse, aquaponics lab, land lab, and two mechanics shops.
Applicants must possess a valid Illinois Teaching License with appropriate endorsements in Agriculture Education.
Salary and benefits are determined based on experience & education per the collective bargaining agreement with the Rockridge Teachers' Association. The possibility of a 10-month contract for the FFA Advisor and the 3-Circles Grant will be discussed with the final candidate.
