Crete-Monee, located at the far south end of Section 8 in rural Will County, has posted an anticipated vacancy for a full-time Ag teacher/FFA Advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. The program is only two years old and is ready for someone to build on the incredible momentum that has already been started here!
The candidate will be responsible for teaching both high school agriculture courses. Current courses offered through the program include Introduction to Agriculture, Food Science, and Community Food Production. This program is equipped with a classroom lab space and large garden where an ongoing multi-year popcorn breeding program has begun in partnership with University of Illinois agronomy researchers.
The school district participates in the Three Circles grant program, providing an extending contract for its Ag teachers/FFA Advisors.
