New Berlin High School, located in Sangamon County and Section 14, has posted a vacancy for a full-time Ag/Engineering teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position includes Jr./Sr. High School agriculture and engineering courses, with opportunity for program growth and expansion.
The district is interested in candidates who are dual enrollment certified or willing to obtain certification for potential coursework through Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC).
All employees must hold a valid Illinois license with appropriate endorsements (registered in Sangamon County), complete fingerprinting and a background check, and have a current physical and TB test on file. Resume and official transcripts are required.
Dual Enrollment Note: Certification requires 2,000 hours of work experience in the field being taught per ICCB guidelines.
