Indiana FFA will be hosting a CASE Small Gas Engines BriefCASE training June 10–12 in Columbia City. This 2.5 day training is a great opportunity for teachers looking to expand their agricultural mechanics offerings or add hands-on small engine curriculum into their programs.
The CASE Small Gas Engines curriculum focuses on giving students practical technical skills through inquiry-based instruction. Topics include engine theory, system diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting, while also building student problem-solving and technical literacy skills. This is a strong fit for programs looking to strengthen agricultural mechanics pathways or provide additional work-based learning connections.
The cost for the training is $1,200, which includes:
All lunches and snacks during the training
CASE curriculum management and certification fees
Required lab materials and supplies
Full CASE certification upon completion
If you know teachers who may be interested, please feel free to share this opportunity with them. We are excited to continue building capacity in agricultural mechanics instruction across the state. Registration closes on Friday, May 8th.
