Dongola School District #66, located in Section 24 of District 5, is seeking a full time agriculture teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Courses taught would include junior high Introduction to the Agriculture Industry and visits with the elementary grades.

Facilities include an agriculture department building, lots of storage, woodworking equipment, small school garden with six raised beds, hydroponics system and an 80x20 foot greenhouse. Within the program there are currently 53 students taking an agriculture education courses.

Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of the hired individual, include Introduction to the FFA and Effective Communications in 6th grade, AgX CASE Curriculum in 7th grade, woodshop and greenhouse management in 8th grade.

Major events hosted by the Agriculture Department include district wide Harvest Day, Pumpkin Day, and Ag Safety Day along with the Annual Greenhouse Plant Sale.

Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. This position may include an FFA Stipend or the Three Circles Grant. Position open until filled.
